Inflammation is usually the body’s auto-immune response to an antigen. There can be multiple antigens deep-seated in tissues and organs causing chronic inflammation. Arthritis, diseases such as celiac, Graves, Hashimoto, multiple sclerosis, and others are all examples of chronic inflammation that can be helped.
At the consultation, we identify which organs and systems are affected and construct the daily schedule and nutritional regimen accordingly – not by suppressing the immunity (e.g. immuno-suppressing hormonal or anti-histamine therapies), but by purifying the organ and tissue off the antigens and thereby enhancing the immunity and improving the overall health and wellbeing.
The anti-inflammatory program helps to reduce the likelihood of auto-immune reactions and helps to alleviate chronic inflammation. Daily anti-inflammatory techniques coupled with herbal support, are fortified by a nutritional regimen comprised of hypoallergenic ingredients. For example, we may recommend a low-grain regimen boasting a great amount and variety of vegetables, turmeric, peppermint, burdock root, chrysanthemum, goldenseal, and other foods known to reduce inflammation.
As part of the consultation, we evaluate your family health history, analyze your current state of health, establish health goals, identify the healing strategy and provide you with specific instructions including exactly what to eat and which foods to avoid.
